"Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of my doors." Proverbs 8:34
I just received news this morning that my aunt passed away of a massive heart attack. She literally dropped dead. It almost seems unreal, but I know that this is the realest that it will ever get. None of us know the time or the hour that the good Lord will call us home, but what we do know is we MUST be ready. We have to have our relationship right with God and one another. We gain this knowledge by not just merely being readers and hearers of the word, but most importantly doers.
My mother-in-law said something that really got my attention. She said, God is in control of the when, but we are in control of the how. We have to take note of living healthy. That is through our physical and spiritual man. We can't stress all out about everything. We have to have a balance and give it to the Lord. We also have to eat healthy, exercise. Do good to others, and as I told my daughter this morning as she shed her tears of grief, we have to love, love, love. God is in control of it all. He knows what the bigger picture is. We have to trust God every step of the way.
It's time out for bickering with one another, getting our feelings hurts, worrying about things that don't matter, being jealousy, grumbling, mumbling and complaining. We have to love, love, love and do unto others as we would have them do unto us!
I will leave you with this: "Let integrity and uprightness preserve me; for I wait on thee." Psalm 25:21
I love you all! Be blessed!
