WWJD

"Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee." Isaiah 26:3

Do you remember the "What Would Jesus Do" fad. There were t-shirts, bracelets, bumper stickers, etc. If you were caught in a bad situation or make a goof, someone would say, "What would Jesus do?" I felt convicted if I had that bracelet on and did something that was out of the will of God. It was a great idea, but like a lot of things, it was a fad. It was popular just as long as everyone was on the bandwagon then it was off to the next big thing.

The bigger picture is that Jesus is not a fad. He is here and here to stay. We have to take on the mindset of Christ as a part of our everyday lives. Can we overcome the circumstances of this life? Can we eliminate our worries and fears? Can we have total trust in God? The answer is, YES! We can. If we keep our eyes on Jesus.

Sometimes we forget where our strength lies and we start to rely on ourselves (and we already know how much that will get you). We have to stay in constant communion with the Lord. Whether it be through prayer, reading the bible, or meditating on scripture. We have to keep our hearts and minds stayed on HIM and ask yourself, "WWJD?"
